Objective:

To obtain an entry level public relations job for the ASPCA organization or some similar animal protection society that will allow me to exhibit my collegiate learning experience in the communication field to aide in the fight against cruelty to animals in our everyday society.

Summary:

Highly motivated, conceptualized, and energetic individual with many years of experience related to the dealings with people socially.

Experience

Server – Cracker Barrel Restaurant and Old Country Store, Bristol, Virginia – November, 2006 – Present.

  • Server Trainer – Was responsible for the training of new servers entering the store and giving them the skills to succeed on the job.
  • Expanded knowledge of how to deal and relate to people one-on-one, the ability to attend to guest complaints, attending to the overall experience that a guest has while in the restaurant, knowledge of proper cleaning skills, good communication and computer skills, and able to work in a highly stressful environment.

Server – Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, Bristol, Virginia – October, 1994 – November, 2006.

  • Delivered medications to the various hospital floors from the pharmacy
